So in MMOs (and games like this) devs can be 'tempted' to artificially lengthen content with grinds. Players consume content faster than Devs can make it.
Probably the next 'best' shop game is basically a dead game because of theirs (They are attempting to fix the damages now, but its really too late). Prior to the fusion caldron I had always said Shop Titans was the best shop game because it DIDNT have a fusion caldron. Many people loved the fusion caldron as it gave them a way to tweak up the gear on their heroes but as a guy thats been playing these shop games since shop games were a thing (swords and potions, anyone?) I have a completely different and much darker view. When I first saw the 'Fusion Caldron' I went into full tin-foil hat panic mode and started warning people that this is the first sign of the downfall of a great game.
